Listen up Tom Cruise fans, there’s a good chance there’s going to be a sequel to Top Gun. Do I have your attention now? Hey everyone this is Ani Esmailian for Hollyscoop. “We’re working on it,” is the official word on the “Top Gun 2″ project. And this was straight from the horse’s mouth. While promoting his latest movie Mission Impossible-Ghost Protocol in Dubai, Tom confessed Top Gun 2 is in the works. Tony Scott has already confirmed he’s going to be directing, so it’s looking good, guys! Tom said: “Tony and I and Jerry, we never thought that we would do it again. Then they started to come to us with these ideas of where it is now. I thought, ‘Wow, that would be … what we could do now.’ ” So basically—it’s a go.
